To buy a token on Ethereum using MetaMask, first, you need to create a MetaMask wallet. Download the MetaMask extension from its official site and install it on your browser. Follow the instructions to set up a new wallet, which includes creating a password and securing your backup seed phrase. Once your wallet is ready, fund it by transferring Ether (ETH) from an exchange or another wallet to your MetaMask Ethereum address.

Next, connect your wallet to a decentralized exchange (DEX) such as Uniswap, SushiSwap, or 1inch. Visit the DEX website and click on "Connect Wallet," then choose MetaMask from the options. Approve the connection in the MetaMask pop-up to link your wallet with the DEX, allowing you to trade directly from your MetaMask wallet.

To exchange ETH for the token you want, select ETH in the "from" field and pick your desired token in the "to" field. Enter the amount of ETH you wish to swap, and the DEX will show you the estimated amount of tokens you will receive. Click "Swap" or "Exchange," and confirm the transaction in the MetaMask pop-up window. Review all details carefully before finalizing the transaction.

Lastly, check your transaction status in MetaMask under the "Activity" tab or on Etherscan using your Ethereum address. If the token doesn't appear in your MetaMask wallet, you can add it manually by clicking "Assets," then "Add Token," and entering the token's contract address, symbol, and decimal. Your new tokens should now be visible in your MetaMask wallet, allowing you to manage, send, or trade them as needed.
